Make a Scroll Sawn Nutcracker Mouse Ornament

My wife came up to me and told me that the person who we were going to get to make cookies for us to give to the mice may not be able to make them in the time frame we needed. So I quickly came up

Get Ready for the Holidays! Make This Easy Snowman Gift Box from Coffee Cans and Duck Tape

This easy snowman gift box also doubles as a decoration. It is  super simple to make, using two coffee cans and white duck tape. Last year my parents made a couple for us. This year I made my own. To make this you will need

Make a Toy Biplane for MakersCare.org

Steve Ramsey of Woodworking for Mere Mortals has started a charity called Makers Care (http://makerscare.org). All proceeds go to the Make a Wish Foundation, who grants wishes to very sick children. One of the largest expenses in wish granting is air fare. They have a fundraising drive that includes making an airplane out of any material, and posting it on the Makers Care site. Steve is donating $5 for each submission. This is my submission. I encourage you to make your own and post

I cut some 1/2 inch poplar to the rough lengths of the sides. I added a miter gauge extension and set

Make a bandsaw box. I'm sure you can do better than me.

I made a “bandsaw” box without a bandsaw a couple of months ago. Recently, I purchased a small banchtop bandsaw. I decided to try to make an actual bandsaw box, albeit limited by the saw's modest

Make a Rustic Planter Stand from a Fence Damaged by a Car - Crash to Treasure

A few weeks ago, a driver lost control of their car an ended up crashing through my backyard fence (no injuries). I decided to make a stand for some planters so they will be out of reach of the rabbits

Make a Bandsaw Box without a Bandsaw - An Un-Bandsaw Box

I like the look of bandsaw boxes, but I didn't have a bandsaw at the time. I wanted to see if I could make something that emulated a bandsaw box anyway. It's not emulating the more familiar drawer style
