Shop Project - Make a table saw cross cut sled - Important jig for accuracy

One jig you should really make for your table saw is a cross cut sled. It will improve your accuracy and ability to make repeatable cuts. Whatever you are making, it will make things much easier. So after about two years with this saw, I finally got around to making a cross-cut sled. I even used the 5 cut method to check the accuracy of the fence.

Make a Wooden Placekicker Toy for the NFL Kickoff

I had one of these toys when I was a child. You would hit him on the head and he would kick the football, hopefully through the goal post. I made a version out of wood so I could have my very own wooden football kicker with a super toe.

Make a Simple Tea Light Candle Stand

These tea light stands are simple to make and don't cost a lot of money. I picked up some maple and oak at the green box store for about $10 and a pack of 16 tea lights at the dollar store for, well, a dollar. I wanted something a little different from the tea light stands I'd seen, so I went with this

Make an Over-Stretcher for Your Dancer, Gymnast, or Cheerleader

My daughter needed something to help her with her over splits. Against my better judgement, I looked at some online pictures of similar items and came up with the following. Now I just have to
